Dyadic’s Mechatronics Cylinders feature a motor, encoder, drive and actuator in one integral package. Dyadic has developed the linear actuator drive mechanism such that the screw and nut are optimized for high accuracy, long life and low cost while delivering high speed and peak thrust. This blend of low-cost and high performance could only have been realized by the advanced technology of Dyadic Systems. These new product concepts give engineers a wider range of options to eliminate over-design.
Mechatronics Cylinders are available in a range of stroke lengths and are constructed using an extruded aluminum body with 303 stainless for the shaft and rod tip. Actuators can easily be operated via 24VDC signals from PLCs or relays, and can be connected in networks of up to 16 axes.

Zaber Technologies G-LSQ XYZ Gantry System
This video shows a 450 mm travel, low profile, XY Gantry system with a 150 mm Z-axis. This system is composed of several LSQ stages and three stepper motor controllers. Cable carriers are included to provide increased cable protection and to reduce wiring clutter.
Combining several linear low-profile stages, this gantry system is decked out for multi-axis applications that have to support heavier loads. Flex cables run neatly to three stepper motor controllers, keeping system movement reliable and uncluttered. The system supports loads to 18 kg and can reach speeds of 330 mm/s.

Zaber’s A-BLQ-E series products are computer controlled, belt-driven linear stages with integrated stepper motors and controllers. A built-in rotary encoder allows closed-loop operation with slip/stall recovery features. They are stand-alone devices requiring only a standard 48 volt power supply for operation. A knob at the end of the stage permits smooth manual control; press and hold to switch between velocity and displacement mode and turn to move the stage.
Zaber's A-BLQ-E Belt Driven Actuator
The stages connect to the RS-232 port of any computer and can be daisy-chained with up to 254 A or T-series devices per chain. Convenient 6-pin mini din cables on the unit allow for direct interconnection between units in close proximity. For longer distances, standard cable extensions can be used.
With travel lengths up to 2.1 m, and a maximum speed of 2.0 m/s, A-BLQ-E stages are perfect for rapid positioning over large distances. Their high load capacity and excellent torsional stiffness make them suitable for large payloads, while 10 µm repeatability allows these stages to be used for precise positioning as well.

Zaber’s Gantries are designed for multi-axis applications where load and travel requirements exceed the rated cantilever load specs of Zaber’s simpler XY or XYZ systems.
In the T-G-LSM200A200A system (shown), a synchronized pair of lead-screws provide very low backlash and high stiffness. Gantry systems include a base-plate with a full M6 on 25 mm grid of mounting holes, integrated high flex cable and cable management system.
The T-G-LSM gantry systems are composed of three linear stages with integrated controllers, a base-plate with a full M6 on 25 mm grid of mounting holes, integrated high flex cable and cable management system. In addition, these gantries are available in 100 or 200 mm travel per axis (custom lengths available), have a low profile – 70 mm overall height, and are customizable i.e. add another Zaber stage for a Z-axis.
In this video, the gantry system is moving a 9.4 kg (20.68 lb) load.

- The high-vacuum units are vacuum rated to 10^-6 torr. All components are chosen for low out-gassing and low CVCM.
- The low-vacuum units are vacuum rated to 10^-3 torr and use vacuum compatible greases and epoxies. All have non-anodized components.
- Only a 5 pin feed-through is required to operate multiple Zaber positioners in a vacuum chamber. *See below for more details.

In addition, you can transmit power though data cables: Power to vacuum devices is transmitted through the data cables, eliminating the need for extra feedthroughs. A Zaber T-DSUB9-P (included with kits) is used to splice the power into the data cable – it is connected to the data cable outside the vacuum chamber.

Zaber’s LSM series devices are motorized linear stages with high thrust and speed capabilities and a very compact size. They are designed to be used with our T-MCA controller, or can be used with any 2-phase stepper motor controller. At only 21 mm high, these miniature stages are excellent for applications where a small profile is required. The LSM’s innovative design allows speeds up to 58 mm/s and loads up to 10 kg.
